Named GP for patients

You may be aware that from April 2015 all practices are required to provide their patients with a named GP who has overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to them.

Your named GP will have overall responsibility for your care however this does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the surgery.

If you would like to know who your named GP is, or would like to request a specific doctor, please contact us on 01908 691123.

You do not need to take any further action, but if you do have any questions or wish to discuss this further please do contact us on 01908 691123.

New Practice Pharmacist

We were the first practice in MK to employ our own Pharmacist to assist GPs with their workload and improve the care we provide to our patients. If you have a medication query, have recently been in hospital or are on repeat medication Geraldine may be involved in your care. She also reviews medications and asks patients to come in to see either herself for reviews or blood tests and other procedures as required with one of our team.

Improving Access to General Practice: evening and weekend appointments now available

Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on weekday evenings (after 6.30pm) or at the weekends (on Saturday and Sunday).  Appointments will either take place at this practice or at another NHS setting nearby.  Talk to the practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment.

By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them.  This is part of  a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients.  Further information is available at
